I love it when my dog is obedient! Problem is, Charlie (my dog) isn’t always. Have you ever given thought to what it means for us to obey the Lord? How big a deal is obedience anyway? Doesn’t an emphasis on obedience lead to a legalistic outlook and a de-emphasis on the grace of Jesus? How can obedience be an important part of my growth and enjoyment of the life I have in Christ? Come on Sunday as we explore the last words of Jesus to his disciples on the night before he died and what he had to say about obedience. Please leave your dogs at home!Reading: John 14:15-31
